Congratulations, you were accidentally selected to re-create the human species with Oprah and Prince. I mean it seems odd originally that Prince, Bill Gates, and Oprah are the few who are selected. Why select such people who are already well past middle age? They are all great at what they do, but number one on my list to recreate civilization is to see what is on Oprah's favorite things. Unless she starts giving away shelter, AND YOU GET A SHELTER AND YOU GET A SHELTER, I don't find her that useful. This current world is ending, how does Oprah aid in creating a new world? Her fame and fortune is great on Earth, but we are leaving that soda fountain and going to Mars or wherever.
I would totally start asking others how they got notice to board the ship. I feel like an e-mail is pretty unofficial. I would expect that if I was really important that they would send people to pick me up and escort me to the fleeing vessel. I would bend Prince's ear, because that guy does not check his e-mail. Is it just Prince. I feel like he would be able to survive without other doing things for him. He doesn't get one assistant? After opening my big mouth I imagine the scientists would be questioning why I am here. If I cozy up with Prince I can do his bidding.
Another thing about this e-mail, do I see every one's e-mail? Did they send out 25 single e-mails or is everyone bcc'd on it? Also, I would protest immediately asking for some applied scientists. Where are the Engineers, who is going to be doing the building, not Gates, not Prince. Whoever assembled this group of 25 people made more mistakes then allowing me to board.
